1. What WeldIndex Is

WeldIndex (weldindex.com) is a directory that helps buyers find welding and industrial gas distributors in the United States, and helps distributors be found. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Directory Information

Listings are compiled from publicly available sources and from businesses themselves. We work to keep information accurate, but we do not guarantee it. Hours, prices, availability, and services change — always confirm details directly with the business before relying on them.

Price ranges shown on listings are market estimates, not quotes. Review excerpts and ratings come from public Google reviews and reflect their authors' opinions, not ours. AI-generated summaries are provided for convenience and may contain errors.

3. WeldIndex Is Not a Party to Your Transactions

When you send a quote request or contact a distributor through WeldIndex, any resulting transaction is strictly between you and that business. We are not a broker, agent, or party to the deal, and we are not responsible for the products, services, pricing, or conduct of any listed business.

4. Business Listings & Claims

• You may only claim a listing for a business you own or are authorized to represent.
• Information you submit for a listing must be accurate and lawful.
• We may edit, decline, or remove any listing at our discretion (for example: closed businesses, miscategorized businesses, or policy violations).
• If a listing about your business is inaccurate, email hello@weldindex.com — corrections and removals are free.

5. Paid Services

Premium listings, plans, and market reports are described at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars.

Market reports: if a report doesn't match its description, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Subscription plans can be canceled anytime and remain active through the end of the paid period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download directory data without our written permission.
• Submit false quote requests, fake claims, or spam through our forms.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the site.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

The WeldIndex name, site design, guides, and original content are ours. Business names, brands, and trademarks shown in listings belong to their respective owners — their appearance in the directory does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Guides and technical articles are general information, not professional, safety, or legal advice — welding and compressed gases are dangerous; follow manufacturer instructions, OSHA regulations, and your own qualified judgment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeldIndex's total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.
